Unique Gift Ideas for the Person Who Has Everything

Hi everyone! Okay, we all have them, the person
in our lives that’s impossible to buy for. They either already have everything, or they’re
just so picky you’ll never know what to get them especially around the holiday times that
causes a lot of stress. So here are 3 surefire things that you can
get the person who has everything and it will still be very unique, special and memorable. The first thing you can do is personalize
your items. Here’s an example: So having 2 boys had tons of towels; beach
towels, regular towels, pool towels. But my friend, Jessica; hey Jessie! she sent me this
towel from her son Vishi, and now he’s five, he got this new as one and this is the only
towel he ever wants to use in the pool. So even though I have a dozen others, he doesn’t
want to use anything else. So let’s apply this to big people. What could
you do? You could get nice towels for the bathroom with their initials monogram on them;
an elegant planner with their last initial on lightly engraved on it; you can get a coach
key chain with their first initial on it; and there’s a lot of ways you can personalize
something with your initials, their name just monograming. So even if somebody has ten other
key chains or twelve other towels or anything else, they would really appreciate and love
to use the one that has been personalized. So that’s a great way, it’s a great thing
to do. Second way, just very similar along the same
lines but it’s personalized with photos. Every time you personalize something with the photo,
it becomes completely unique because it’s not something that someone has before. So a few examples of this are, if you know
someone who has a lot of digital frames, well get him additional frame but fill it up with
photos from a past event that they haven’t seen in a long time. Maybe it’s your wedding,
maybe it’s growing up, and maybe it’s black and white. And I guarantee that frame will
substitute any other frame that’s in their house. Or create a calendar especially if
you have kids and you give it to the grandkids, get their pictures in the calendar; it’s going
to replace any other calendar someone might have. Or create a video slide show used on
memorable event and create a slide show and give it to them on a DVD with music and captions. If only I knew someone talented, charming,
beautiful to create something like this. Hmmm, well until I think of someone, just send things
my way. Okay now here’s the 3rd way to get something
for that really hard to shop for person that’s completely unique. It requires a little bit more creativity,
but you’re a smart group, I know you can do it. What you want to do is create an experience
around a person’s interest or hobby. So I’ll give you some examples of this; So if your husband or brother or brother in
law is a big baseball enthusiast for a particular team, they probably have a season’s ticket,
he has all the paraphernalia about the team. So what you maybe could do is set up a 2 hour
session out on a batting cage nearby with all his buddies and maybe even have a hotdog
and beer vendor set up there. Uhmmm, another example is if you know someone
who’s a travel enthusiast, probably can’t send him on a trip and they probably have
everything he needs for traveling, so maybe you could set up a walking tour in their town
or the nearest local city. Uhhmmm it’s something that we tend to overlook is the history of
our own, of where we live and they could find out something great about their own neighborhood. Or let’s say someone you know someone who’s
a big cooking enthusiast. They have every recipe book, they have every pot and pan,
so maybe what you could do is to have a chef come to the home and give him a cooking lesson
or serve them a five course meal. So these are all experiences that you can
create base on what they really enjoyed doing. This is a really unique, incredible gift that
really they can never have gotten the same; they can’t get to it ever. And where can you
find these resources? Really if you just use a little creativity and get on just Google,
look on local things neighborhood like cooking classes at home or batting cages in your area;
you can find this information or try Craigslist. I know they’re some fears about that but I’ve
had a lot of great experience. And if you’re smart about it like anybody else you find
on the internet, you would check references, check their website, meet them in person,
and you can find some great local talent in the services or in the entertainment on Craigslist. So that’s it, those are my 3 surefire ways
to make sure that you can buy something unique, personal, fun and memorable for the person
who’s really hard to shop for. But if you have any other ideas, I would love
to hear them, send me your comments and if you like this video, share them with your
friends and I will see you next week. I hope you’ll have a productive and organized weekend
ahead. BYE!
