Pemain, pengurus & jurulatih Penang Black Panthers tidak meneruskan cabaran STL

Former manager of Penang Black Panthers, Abdul Hafiz Abdul Majid
reiterates he never persuade any player to withdraw from the team due to
dissatisfaction with upper management. Hafiz resigned as team manager due to disagreement
with Penang Sepak Takraw Association (PESENANG) regarding player selection in
Malaysia Sepak Takraw League (STL) Two coaches, Helmi Ismail & Fazil Asri
were fired even though Penang Black Panthers
is leading the league. Two foreign players from Thailand,
Purached Yodsaen & Aekkasit Naphom together with Malaysian players, Zaim Razali
and Amir Syahiran Fuzi withdrew from the team. Why are the 2 coaches fired
while the team is leading the league? Our strategy & planning are successful. If our team does not show a good performance
and if there is interference from upper management I don’t have any problem with that. Penang Black Panthers will continue competing in STL with
remaining 4 players & captained by striker Azlan Alias. However, it is up to PESENANG to make the next
decision to win the 4th consecutive league title. I am frustrated because the team is leading the
league and we want to win the 4th league title but I cannot do my job with interference from upper
management about something that was not discussed. Meanwhile, we tried to contact the president of
PESENANG, Datuk Seri Ahmad Ismail to explain on this matter, but were unsuccessful.
