County Commissioner announces resignation


COMMISSIONERS MEETING TODAY. VO THAT’S BECAUSE IT WAS THE FINAL MEETING FOR PRECINCT ONE COMMISSIONER MIKE PUSLEY. BACK IN OCTOBER HE ANNOUNCED HE WAS RUNNING FOR THE COUNTY JUDGE’S SEAT. CURRENT COUNTY JUDGE LOYD NEAL IS RETIRING. BECAUSE OF STATE LAW, PUSLEY MUST STEP DOWN TO RUN FOR ANOTHER OFFICE. TODAY WAS HIS LAST COMMISSIONERS COURT MEETING. WIPE SOT MIKE PUSLEY/STEPPING DOWN AS COUNTY COMMISSIONER. this has been the best job i’ve ever had and I can’t thank you enough for allowing me the privilege of serving as your commissioner. I have worked hard every day to repay your kindness and I hope that in some small way my service has made your life better. I also want to thank all the county employees and elected officials for helping me through all the ups and downs of doing my job. VO MIKE PUSLEY’S FINAL DAY IS MARCH 14TH. JUDGE LOYD NEAL HAS APPOINTED FORMER DISTRICT ONE COUNCIL MEMBER CAROLYN VAUGHN TO FILL OUT THE REMAINDER OF PUSLEY’S TERM. SHE RESIGNED FROM HER COUNCIL SEAT ON TUESDAY, SHE’S ALSO RUNNING FOR THE PRECINCT ONE SEAT IN THE REPUBLICAN PRIMARY. BY THE WAY, THIS WAS JUDGE NEAL’S FIRST COUNTY COMMISSIONER’S MEETING SINCE HE WAS HOSPITALIZED FOR PNEUMONIA BACK IN JANUARY. MIKE A RASH OF FALSE ALARMS AND SOCIAL
